I'm not sure if you're aware, but you can download different add-ons and customize your Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer browser. I added an extension called PicLens which allows you to view pictures with ease, especially if you're flipping through an album of over 100 pictures. You don't have to keep clicking back on the images and the directory and waiting for the thumbnails to load. This is possibly one of the coolest programs ever made. It'll definitely save you time while you Facebook or Myspace stalk. Right Michelle?

THSF
I know I'm a little late, but LA based store The Hundreds opened their second flagship store in San Francisco, on Post Street. I couldn't make it to the grand opening, but Bobby Hundreds provided us with plenty of pictures. I still haven't checked out the store myself since I've been sick. However, I did attempt to hit up the store on Easter Sunday, but of course, it was closed. Silly me.

The IF Game
I wonder if I can make this shot on the first try. I wonder if I can walk all the way down this column without falling. I wonder if I can get her number. I think this short film by Nick Light is brilliant because we all play the IF game. Well, I know I play it all the time and I think everyone else plays it too.
I wonder if...

L.A.S.E.R. Tag
Graffiti Research Lab takes tagging to a whole new level as they bomb NYC MoMA. You can still see their exhibit until May 12th. To find out more info, check out GRL's website. Make sure to check out the video with the cops in Australia that tagged with them. BUSTED!

Snake Eyes
There are some upcoming movies I'm dying to see. One being G.I. Joe, one of my favorite 80's cartoons. Here's the first look at Snake Eyes, played by Ray Park. Another is Transformers 2. Both movies are due out 2009.
Now you know. And knowing is half the battle.

BYOBW
Happy Easter everyone. Some people celebrate Easter with family members to remember Christ, while others spend the day rolling down the curviest street in San Francisco. Today was BYOBW (Bring Your Own Big Wheel) race down Vermont Street. Plenty of crashes. Plenty of wheels flying off. Plenty of costumes. Plenty of fun.

Irish Car Bomb
Wanted to hit up St. Patrick's Day Parade in San Francisco today, but couldn't make it out there in time. So Paul and I hit up Kells Irish Pub for some green beer and Irish Car Bombs. Chilled a bit in the city and took a couple of pictures. Forgot my tripod at home.

WTF?!
Mark Jenkins has been causing quite a buzz over the last few of years. You've probably never even seen his street art because they're so subtle. In the past, he created hundreds of tape babies and placed them all over the globe. His new installations takes a whole new direction, causing confusion and plenty of double-takes.
Jenkins plays with the idea of camouflage and hyperrealism by placing dummies in to crowded areas or in odd situations. Wondering what's going through their minds? Check out the video.
These installations usually last a couple of days or weeks, depending on the situations. Cops have thrown some of the fake people in the trash so Jenkins decided to install some of them as trash or in the trash bins. A girl dummy was placed sitting on the edge of a roof-top. The firefighters came and tried to rescue the fake person.
Some of my favorites:

Beauty and the Geek
Hulu
officially launched today. You can now watch all your favorite TV shows like LOST, Monk, American Idol, Family Guy, Beauty and the Geek, etc. Now you can catch up on past episodes, watch channels you don't have access to and more. They even have movies. There are still some shows that are missing episodes or not included. Fear not. They are working on that. It's no Stage6, but it's still better than Youtube.Season 5 premieres 8PM tonight on CW. If you've never seen the past seasons, here's your chance. We had Tyson Mao, season 2 contestant, come out to a couple of our parties last year. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Ha! But nonetheless, check out the new season tonight.

More Than Meets The Eye
Being an 80's baby, I grew up watching Transformers, Voltron, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, G.I. JOE, Smurf, Thundercats, and yes, even Rainbow Brite.
HELL NO! Are you kidding me? Of course I didn't watch Rainbow Brite.
But seriously. Those were the good old days. Watching cartoons in my pajamas on Saturday mornings, playing with Lego, and hearing a creepy kid voice saying DIC after every show. CLICK HERE. Just because we're grown up now, doesn't mean we can't have a day to ourselves and be a kid again. Take a day off, sit in your pajamas and watch the Transformers. You deserve it.

In the city again today. Not much to update. I was feeling tired and skipped out on Hot Import Nights.

Let the Invasion Begin
I went to Haight & Ashbury today and hit up Kidrobot to pick up a bunch of Munny figures.
Checked out SF MOMA (Museum of Modern Art), then ate at The Stinking Rose restaurant off Columbus Street. Good food. Never ending aftertaste. Thanks Betty for the lovely choice. Not to mention the nasty tasting Durian and Budweiser Gelato ice cream.

Blek Le Rat
Blek Le Rat is holding a solo exhibition in the United States for the very first time. A pioneer of graffiti writers in Europe, Blek le Rat was one of the first people to use stencils to make public art on the street using icons instead of writing his name.
He uses his art to serve a social cause, to evoke reaction and inspire change. Most recently, he pasted hundreds of posters around Paris of Florence Aubenas, a French journalist who was kidnapped in Iraq, hoping to provoke a reaction from politicians and journalists and aid in her release. This project gained Blek incredible public support, and has encouraged him to continue to use his Street Art as a voice for the less fortunate. His method of creating street art changed the face of graffiti and still continues to greatly influence artists around the world; from Shepard Fairey and Banksy, to JayBadbc and Oseas Duarte to the young artist wheat pasting work around town. Check out a brief video on Blek Le Rat.
I will try to plan a trip down to check out his show.

Touch My Body
Check out the video for the new single, "Touch My Body" by Mariah Carey. I can't say I like her new song, but she still looks absolutely scorching for being almost 40 years old. Her new album E=MC² will drop April 15th.

Kathie Olivas: Bittersweet
Last night was the opening reception for the Florida-based low-brow artist, Kathie Olivas, at Gallery 1988 San Francisco. The talented and always beautiful Kathie Olivas was there for her solo show, Bittersweet, so I had to stop by. The show offers new paintings, sculptures, and custom vinyl toys. She plays with idea of cute and innocent, with a dark, sarcastic twist. I just absolutely love her work.
I picked up a signed Blue Benny and Red Bird set by Kathie Olivas.
Check out the crazy box that it came in. Designed by Rob Schwager.
Check out the rest of the pictures from last night with Allie and Corliss.
