San Francisco Giants

I went to the Giants game tonight with some friends. I'm actually not a Giants fan, but I went just to have some fun. Took a bunch of pictures of Tim Lincecum and created an animated gif of him striking out the Rockies. Killer windup.

Security Suit

Need something to match your luxury gas masks? Tim Smit designed a security suit using neoprene with kevlar chest plate and along the spine. It already comes with it's own gas mask, but you can switch it up if you don't want to wear the same mask two days in a row. The style reminds me of Aitor Throup's designs.

HUF

While HUF is busy getting ready for the opening of their new store in LA on May 10th, they have quietly relaunched their website. I have to admit, I haven't been on their website for a really long time because they hardly update it. But with their third store opening up soon, maybe Keith will try to keep it up to date.

MB-D200

UPS dropped off a package for me right before I was about to head out to lunch. New stuff for my camera. Woohoo! MB-D200 Multi-power battery grip and an extra battery for my Nikon D200. And yes, I was watching Juno on my computer.

Welcome to the Tank

Another amazing week in the making. First ever Game 7 in San Jose history. Welcome to the loudest sold-out crowd in HP Pavilion. Hello Calgary, Canada. Time to extinguish those Flames.

Sharks win 5-3, advancing to the 2nd Round. After the game, Linda and I headed to McCormick's and Schmick's in downtown to celebrate with some happy hour food and drinks. Here's Miss Linda Le of Vamp Beauty with the only picture she actually posed for before she took over the camera and made me be the model. But I won't be showing you those pictures.

Amazing Week Part III

Yesterday was the Glow in the Dark concert at the HP Pavilion in San Jose. It was insane. We had floor seats up front along with pre-party and backstage tour. They didn't allow cameras, but I managed to sneak some pictures.

Lupe Fiasco, N.E.R.D. and Rihanna got it started. Baron Davis came through. He sat in the same row as me, about 10 seats down. I couldn't get a picture or autograph because he was surrounded by security. Few minutes later, the man of the hour hit the stage with possibly the greatest performance ever. Kanye lived up to his promised to be the greatest hip-hop artist in the world...universe. He took the concert experience to a whole new level. He had an entire story built around his songs.

I've been to many concerts and this was at the top. He literally takes you on an adventure with him. No picture or video can do justice. You just had to be there. For anyone that missed out. They'll be back June 6th. I'm ready for round 2.

Amazing Week Part II

I've been helping organize our upcoming event for this coming Saturday, April 26th at Straits in San Francisco. Here's the flier I designed for the party. I will be the photographer that night, so come by.

Sign up for guest list

Guestlist extended til 11:30PM

Make sure to get there early. It's going to be packed. Our good friends, DJ ExRated and DJ Lucky from The Alliance DJ's will be spinning on the ones and twos. We got our VIP table set up and ready to rock out. Come by, say hi and hang out with us. Forward it to your friends

Amazing Week Part I

Sorry for the lack of updates. It's been a pretty busy week for me. Even though the Warriors were knocked out of the playoff race, I still had to go to the last game of the year. It was one hell of a season. I got hooked up with courtside seats, row A1, right behind the Seattle Sonics bench and Rookie of the Year, Kevin Durant. Vernon Davis from the 49ers came by.

Only problem with the seat is that I was sitting behind 7'0" Johan Petro and 6'9" Donyell Marshall. The Warriors lost this meaningless game, but it was still disappointing to see them lose. It would've been sweet to see them play against the Lakers in the 1st Round of course. Until next season.

Creepy

I always get this creepy, eerie feeling when I walk down my street at night. You know, that feeling you get sending shivers down your spine and raising the hair on the back of your neck. The neighborhood is sound asleep. It's so quiet, you can hear the wind whistle through the branches. You know there's no one else on the street but yourself except you can't help but feel like someone is watching you. Maybe it's because of the strange blue light coming from the house across from me.

Panoramic

Took some pictures at the Embarcadero. Cropped, resized and pasted them together to create panoramic pictures. Click on each picture to see a larger image. Combine both and you get one super panorama fun.

Bring On The Chemical Warfare

Bring on the chemical warfare. Thanks to Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Diddo Velema, I can now fight off the death gas all while looking good. From the monograms to the platinum bling, Louis V, Gucci and Diddo got me covered. Who cares how ugly I look when my face melts off from the crazy toxic gas when I can look good with the gas mask on. I wonder if this will show up on the next 50 Cent video to match his bulletproof vest.

Olympic Torch Relay

I was going to head to San Francisco to take pictures of the Olympic Torch's only North America stop, but things are looking a little crazy right now. It's packed along the route with protesters and supporters, Coast Guards, barricades and hundreds of police in riot gear. Even if I were to go, I probably wouldn't be able to see anything. They're talking about cutting the route short by a few miles or even canceling it all together, depending on how chaotic it gets. I might still head out there, but don't hold your breath.

*Updated - They completely altered the route, leaving thousands of demonstrators and spectators who came from different parts of the world, disappointed as they waited to catch a glimpse of the torch run. The closing ceremony at the Embarcadero was also canceled. I ended up watching the entire coverage on the news. There are some great photos on the web. I would've loved to been out there, but honestly, I didn't want to be stuck in the middle if a riot broke out.

Before U Know It

Back in February, I introduced you folks to Adam Tensta as a Featured Artist. He's back with another single called "Before U Know It" featuring Swedish hailed singer, Sophia Somajo. Does the video seem familiar? It should. Nonetheless, it's a dope video.

4 Minutes

Madonna feat. Justin Timberlake & Timbaland - 4 Minutes

The beat is hot, but it looks like they failed to save the world. They wasted 4 minutes dancing around and attempting to reenact Superbowl XXXVIII Wardrobe malfunction with Janet Jackson.

Projekt Revolution 2008

Projekt Revolution Tour dates announced today. Last year, I went on a roadtrip to follow the tour. Drove out to the Los Angeles/San Bernardino concert, then drove back to the Bay the next morning to catch them at Shoreline, Mountain View. The lineup for last year was crazy: My Chemical Romance, Saosin, HIM, Taking Back Sunday, Styles of Beyond, Medina Lake, Placebo, Julien-K, Mindless Self Indulgence and of course, my favorite band, Linkin Park. This year will be no different. Linkin Park's Projekt Revolution Tour is back with another sick, sick lineup: Chris Cornell (Soundgarden/Audioslaves), The Bravery, Hawthorne Heights, Atreyu, Armor for Sleep, 10 Years, Street Drum Corps and Ashes Divide. Incase Slide

This is why I love Incase. Incase came out with some new protective covers for the Apple iPhone. This ultra slim cover is only 1mm, but made out of heavy-duty hardshell plastic and interior rubber walls to provide shock absorption in addition to impact and scratch protection. The gloss paint coat keeps it sleek and sexy. Incase also have covers and bags for Macbook, iTouch and other products as well.

Not interesting enough? Head over to Gelaskins for some cool skins from some of my favorite artists like Dave White, Audrey Kawasaki, Kathie Olivas, Brandt Peters and more...

AF1 Pack

My shoe collecting days have faded awhile back. Maybe it's the over saturation of the hypebeast in this culture thanks to the MTV Era. Or it could be the lack of creativity and appeal to the new designs. Nike and Jordan continue to pump out fusion shoes, combining old designs together. And frankly, a lot of the near sneakers are boring or just plain butt ugly. That is until they came up with this Air Max x Air Force 1 line. Click on the image to view full size.

I'm not a big AF1 person, but these are great. There's so much history behind each pair and for people who's been into sneakers for years, they can relate them to some of the shoes that might have started them off in collecting.
